Hillary Clinton Supporters and Volunteers Discuss Opportunities

The Presidential election is still about a year and a half away, but the excitement is growing for Hillary Clinton's campaign. On Wednesday night at the Democratic headquarters on Upper Court Street in Binghamton Hillary supporters and volunteers gathered to talk about volunteer opportunities on a local level and move her campaign forward.
"It's a beautiful collaboration of all of the people that really want to see the Southern Tier and Upstate New York really strengthen their organizing skills and kind of get together and be in support of a candidate who we think could really bring about a lot of the values that we care about as New York State residents," said member of Tompkins County Democratic Committee Chibo Shinagawa.
"If you have the first woman as a nominee of one of the major parties for the first time in history, you're going to see an excitement that's going to be really something to be a part of," said Broome County Democratic Chairman James Testani.
The "Ready for Hillary" grassroots campaign began over 2 years ago and organizers say they have over 4 million supporters.
