It may be "too little, too late" for the BU Bearcats as, with one game remaining in the regular season, Tommy Dempsey sees good things happening. The Bearcats took down Vermont last week and lost a narrow 12 point game to Stony Brook before hosting UMBC on Saturday. Despite the loss to Stony Brook, Dempsey told the team in the locker room afterwards "there's something good going on here -- i can just feel it.

"It's unfortunate, normally when you're in a situation like we're in where we have five wins, you can't wait for the season to be over," Dempsey said. "I would give anything for it to last another month. I think the team has really come together well and playing very competitive. I think Saturday is a chance to get one last win in front of our home fans, give us two out of three to end the year and winning our last couple of home games. That makes people feel good about your process."

Bearcats and Retrievers tip-off Saturday at 2:00.
