By Fox 40 News Staff.
Highland Park and IHeartMedia had their Christmas in the park today for families in the community. The park was filled with activities, music and even a tree lighting ceremony to end the night.
"In the last five years,we've invited the arts and crafts and food vendors, which is really taking off really well. We have entertainment all afternoon. We have visits and pictures with Santa, there is no charge for pictures," said Interim Deputy Commissioner, Parks and Rec, Barbara Hawley.
Santa also came out for the event that featured live entertainment by the 5678 Dance Studio, Primitive Methodist Bell Choir, and Johnny Only.
