30 Years of Granting Special Wishes in Central New York

Make-A-Wish Central New York has been granting wishes for 30 years and the organization continues to make dreams come true.
Last year, 4-year-old wish kid Kalen Kulas from Port Crane got a wheelchair-accessible tree house.
That's one of 1,500 wishes granted by the Central New York chapter of the organization since 1985. This year, the goal is to grant 90 wishes to children. One wish kid remembers his dream from last year.
"My wish was to be in a movie. It didn't really matter what movie but it turns out I was going to be in a sequel to a big financial movie and I got excited because it was Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2," said wish kid Geno Lockwood.
The average cost of one wish is 10,000 dollars.
