Well it's not baseball season yet, but some umpires are practicing their best "You're out!", "Strike!", and "Foul!" voices.


It's all part of the annual New York State Umpires Association Clinic.

The clinic, which took place today, featured umpires from New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.


Umpires learned drills and skills from college, minor league, and major league umpires.


Members say learning from umpires who already know the game is a huge honor and will help with advancement in their careers.


Umpires will report to spring training next month in order to get ready for the season.


The New York State Umpire Association plans to hold another clinic like this one next year.
