BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -

A show combining dance and projection art is coming to the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena this fall as part of LUMA Projection Arts Festival.

Tickets go on sale Thursday at 1pm for the eleven minute show put on by Freckled Sky. The group describes themselves as multimedia creators and were featured on America's Got Talent in 2015. They recently designed P!nk's performance at the Brit Awards.

"It involves live performers interacting with digital scenery that you can't even tell at some times is digital scenery. The fun of it is sometimes you don't know what's real and what's not when you see their shows," says LUMA Co-Founder Joshua Bernard, "They're that good at what they do and it's why we were so excited because they were perfectly compatible with what we're doing here at LUMA."

Bernard says there will be three shows running each night of LUMA, which is September 6th and 7th. Tickets are $7.

While the Freckled Sky performance is a ticketed event, the rest of LUMA remains free. The projection arts festival takes place in Binghamton every year, transforming downtown buildings into animations and moving artwork.
