BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -

Dozens came out to celebrate ACCORD's 37th anniversary of serving the Southern Tier Friday evening.

ACCORD, A Center for Dispute Resolution, Inc. first opened their doors in 1982, helping thousands of individuals, families, and organizations find peaceful resolutions to conflicts.

Guests celebrated the evening with hors d'oeurves, entrees, and desserts paired with local wines and craft beers at Remlik's Oyster Bar & Grille in Binghamton. The event also featured silent auctions, live music.

“We are basically promoting peaceful alternatives to conflict. So if you’re having a dispute with someone..whether it be a family member, a landlord, a neighbor, you know you can come to us and find a peaceful way to resolve that conflict,” said Kelly Fancher, Marketing and Engagement Coordinator at ACCORD.

Not only did this event serve as a celebration, organizers say they hope to raise ten thousand dollars and spread the word of their services.
