Rumble Ponies Keep Rolling

Akron, OH - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies racked up 16 hits, including eight for extra-bases, in a 11-6 win over the RubberDucks on Tuesday night at Canal Park. Every Rumble Pony position player collected at least one hit and five players compiled multiple hits in Binghamton’s fifth straight win. Binghamton starter David Peterson struck out eight and pitched into the sixth inning to earn his first career Double-A victory.

One night after scoring 16 runs on 17 hits, the Rumble Ponies picked up where they left off. The first five hitters Binghamton sent to the plate against Sean Brady reached safely in a four-run first inning.
