Two people have been arrested following a drug bust at a City of Binghamton drug raid on Wednesday.

Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at 93 Walnut Street in the City of Binghamton. 

Officers recovered:

  • Approximately 12 grams of Cocaine
  • Approximately 11 grams of MDMA
  • Drug Packaging Materials
  • $583 in suspected drug sale proceeds

Police arrested Jack Whitehead, 39, and Nicole Brown, 39, both of Binghamton. Whitehead and Brown were held Wednesday night at the Binghamton Police Department and arraigned Thursday in Binghamton City Court. Whitehead and Brown were remanded to the custody of the Broome County Correctional Facility.

Charges filed on Whitehead:

  • 4 counts - Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (intent to sell) – a class B Felony
  • 3 counts - Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd – a class B Felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd  (hallucinogenic substance) – a class B Felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th (more than 1/8 ounce) – A class C Felony
  • Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd – a class A Misdemeanor.

Charges filed on Brown:

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (intent to sell) – a class B Felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th (more than 1/8 ounce) – A class C Felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd  (hallucinogenic substance) – a class B Felony
  • Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd – a class A Misdemeanor
