Endwell man arrested for selling fentanyl, meth, pills

TOWN OF UNION, N.Y. -

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit arrested an Endwell man Thursday night following a drug bust at his home.

Stephen J. Kutney III, 32, of Endwell, was taken into custody after officers executed a narcotics search warrant at 223 Wilson Avenue in the Town of Union.

According to police, officers discovered a small amount of of methamphetamine and fentanyl packaged for sale, numerous controlled substance prescription pills, approximately $700.00 in suspected drug sale proceeds, drug packaging materials and digital scales.

The 32-year old is being charged with:

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a class B Felony
  • Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, class D Felonies
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a class A Misdemeanor
  • Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree, a class D Felony
  • Two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, class A Misdemeanors

Kutney was arraigned Thursday night at Central Arraignment and taken to Broome County Jail without bail.
