Annual Food Drive To Benefit JC Families

Posted: Updated:
JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. -

The Johnson City K-8 School hosted its annual holiday food drive organized to aid Johnson City families in need. The collection of non-perishable donations from this year's drive is slated to help an estimated 45 families in Johnson City.

Kindergarteners to eighth graders collected breakfast and lunch items and even held competitions between classes to see who could bring in the most donations.

The drive also received sizable donations from the Choconut Center United Methodist Church in Binghamton, who participates in food delivery year round.
