BU Men's Basketball Focused On Being The Best Team They Can BePosted: Updated:
The Binghamton University Men's basketball team have been practicing together since July 1st, where they've been putting in four hours a week on the court. Before we can talk about winning championships or improving from the years past, the Bearcats need to "work on our process on becoming the best team we can be" said Coach Tommy Dempsey.
This years recruiting class was extremely important for the Men's basketball program at BU regarding the future and making sure they're building on that. BU lost seven graduating seniors and gained eight new players in this year's recruiting class.

Richard Caldwell - Graduate Forward / Chancellor Barnard - Freshman / Carter Stewart - Freshman / Leo Gallagher - Freshman
But, just like most teams, they also have their veterans and their returning players.
"Developing players that you have that are already in the program and come in a year older, more seasoned and stronger and those kind of things and blending in your younger guys" said Dempsey.
A familiar face who has bought into developing the program at BU and who is also one of their top leading scorers, J.C. Show.
"Like Coach Dempsey said, we're not gonna win any games right now in July but we're gonna put fourth the habits that will lead to wins, so we're just really focusing on our habits and how we're behaving" said Show.
