Marcos Molina Released From Mets Organization

Binghamton, N.Y. - Binghamton Rumble Ponies sent out a press release Thursday morning announcing that right-handed pitcher Marcos Molina has been released from the New York Mets organization. The twenty-three year old was released Wednesday in order to make room on the 40-man roster for OF Matt den Dekker.

Molina was put on Binghamton's DL list on July 4th, 2018 after severely struggling this season. Throughout two starts with Triple-A Las Vegas and 14 starts with Binghamton, Molina produced a 6.94 ERA in 81 2/3 innings.

In 82 career games in the Mets minor league system, Molina posted a 4.55 era and 1.795 WHIP.
