OWEGO, N.Y. -

Boodenfooz, a new local music and arts festival, is coming to the Owego on July 14th.

Boodenfooz is being produced by a local festival production company named No Tuxedo, LLC. and will feature an art village with glass blowing and street art, drone flying dome, a marketplace with local goods for sale, and nine regional indie bands.

Russell Swanger, CEO of No Tuxedo, LLC., said “Indie bands. All day, Starting from noon until 10PM. We have 9 indie bands from the region, from as far away as the Elmira-Corning area, Cortland, and then also down from Lackawanna, PA.”

Swanger believes that the type of young adults who engage with indie music are also very tech-savvy. With this concept driving him, Swanger wanted to find a way to engage these young adults more.

“When you arrive you can expect to see The Dome of Drones. You’ll get a chance to fly your own drone. Also, we have the U.E. Tigertronics Robotics Team and they’re going to be here demonstrating the robot they built.” said Swanger.

Food and drink will be available with many food vendors on site, including a “21 and up” Beer and Wine Garden with beverages from The Farmhouse Brewery and Innovative Bottling.

Boodenfooz will be held at the New Amphitheater at Hickories Park in Owego, NY on Saturday, July 14th.
