Students in Broome County are calling on U.S. Representative Claudia Tenney to attend an open discussion on gun reform.
High School Democrats of America Broome County Chapter held a press conference at the Broome County Democratic Headquarters Wednesday afternoon announcing the Town Hall For Our Lives, a follow-up event to the March For Our Lives- Binghamton event that took place March 24. The town hall will be a public and open discussion between elected officials and representatives on gun reform.
High school student and HSDA Broome President, Benjamin Reynolds requesting the 22nd Congressional District representative to hear from students and Broome County residents about the issue of gun control.
"This issue is really important for students because it’s affecting us. We’re the ones in the school, we’re the ones that this laws are going to be governing so i think it’s really important that we’re represented when we speak."

Rep. Tenney has not yet held a town hall in Binghamton over her term of office.
Town Hall For Our Lives will be hosted by Broome County Democrats this Saturday at the United Presbyterian Church on 42 Chenango Street from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
