Tioga Downs Gears Up for Star-Studded Summer Concert SeriesPosted: Updated:
Tioga Downs is gearing up for their 2018 Summer Concert Series with five star-studded acts.
The concerts kick off on Thursday, May 31st with country star Chris Janson who’s known for hits like “Buy Me a Boat” and “Fix A Drink”.
On June 28th, legendary rocker, Eddie Money, known for “TakeMe Home Tonight”, “Shakin’” and “Two Tickets to Paradise”, is coming to the casino at 8 p.m. with tickets starting at $20.
Wynonna and The Big Noise take the stage at 8 p.m. on July 28th, a benefit concert for the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group. Tickets are $15 and all ticket sales will be donated to the organization. Tioga Downs owner, Jeff Gural, has pledged to match all ticket proceeds for that event.
The second to last act, The Beach Boys, are set for August 7th at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $40.
Wrapping up the series on Labor Day weekend is Michael Bolton at 8 p.m. on September 2nd.
Gural said the line-up is impressive but it wasn’t an easy task.
“It’s not that easy cause you have to pick groups that are affordable for our customers that are available on the days that we don’t race and are in the area. If somebody’s in the area you’ll get a decent price cause they don’t have to drive 40 hours. So, it’s not so simple.”
Tickets are on sale now in the Tioga Downs gift shop and online at tiogadowns.com or ticketmaster.com.
