Colesville Man Arrested Twice In One Day

 New York State Police at Binghamton on Monday arrested Dennis P. Harrington, age 35 of Colesville, NY on two separate occasions. 

During the first incident, troopers were dispatched to a physical dispute at a residence in the town of Colesville.  Troopers determined that a dispute did occur.  Harrington was arrested at about 3:16 p.m., for the misdemeanor of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and the violation of Harassment in the 2nd degree.  He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.  A full stay away order of protection was issued to the victim. 

Approximately four hours later, at about 7:35 p.m., Harrington was arrested for the misdemeanor of Criminal Contempt in the 2nd degree. Troopers were called back to the home in the town of Colesville when Harrington returned to the residence.  Harrington was arrested and remanded to the Broome County Jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
