A Whitney Point High School student has been arrested and charged with Making a Terroristic Threat.
The Whitney Point Central School District made the announcement on their Facebook page Sunday morning, shortly after State Police contacted them with news of the arrest.
Emmanuel Coy, 16, was taken into custody Saturday night as a result of the continuing investigation of the previous threat against the high school where another teenager was arrested on February 15th.
Coy was arraigned at Broome County Central Booking and remanded to Broome County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash bail.
The Broome County District Attorney’s Office assisted in the investigation.
Police add there was no active threat made to the school.
