Binghamton Man Charged After Fleeing PolicePosted: Updated:
Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a search warrant at an Oak St address in the City of Binghamton. Upon making entry into the residence, Amin Rahid attempted to flee out a rear door of the residence. Rahid was apprehended while trying to exit the residence and was found to be in possession of a loaded Smith and Wesson .38 caliber revolver.
Rahid is currently being held at the Binghamton Police Department pending his arraignment.
The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force is comprised of members of the City of Binghamton Police Department, the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Johnson City and Endicott Police Departments. The Binghamton Police Community Response Team assisted with the search warrant.
