The sentencing of Binghamton's former parks and rec director who has admitted to stealing more than 50-thousand dollars from the city has been rescheduled...
John "Mokie" Whelan will now be sentenced on August 27-th.
He pled guilty on April 24th to one count of third- degree grand larceny, a felony. Whelan admitted to stealing from the city between 2007 and 2012.
He faces up to four years in state prison if he fails to pay restitution of more than 79-thousand dollars. If he does pay that restitution, he faces six months in Broome County Jail.
Pennsylvania State Police Have Frein In Custody
Pennsylvania State Police have confirmed that they have Eric Frein in custody.
Frein is suspected of committing the ambush shooting at the Blooming Grove Barracks which killed one trooper and injured another on September 12th.

VERDICT: Jury Finds Davis Guilty of Murdering JC Woman VIEW VIDEO
At about 3:30 Thursday afternoon a Broome County jury reached a verdict in the murder trial of Christopher Davis: guilty on all counts of murder in the July 2013 death of 50-year-old Johnson City Patricia LaCaprara.
