David Tyree Day at NYSEG Stadium tonight

Before tonight's action between Binghamton and Erie, it was David Tyree day at NYSEG stadium as the fans got to meet the Super Bowl champion.

Tyree spent 7 seasons in the NFL. One with the Baltimore Ravens and 6 seasons with the New York Giants.

He is famously known for making the helmet catch in Super Bowl 42 to lead the G-Men to a 17-14 win over the New England Patriots.

The fans love him not only being a Giant but being a Syracuse grad as well. The fans thanked him for his time and he was nice enough to snap pics and shake their hand for all the praise.

Tyree is ranked 13th on the career receiving record list at Syracuse with 1,214 yards including a 229 yard receiving day against Virginia Tech in 2002. He is a New York Giant legend.
