Christopher Moss on Hydrofracking
7/1/2014 (Updated 6:50:01 PM)Rob Astorino's running mate Christopher Moss responded to the court of appeal's decision on hydrofracking.
After a meeting with representatives from the Joint Landowners Coalition of New York, Moss met with the press to discuss his opinion on the decision.
Moss said that allowing towns to prohibit fracking through zoning laws will set the state back economically.
Moss also said that with increased independence on foreign oil, the decision is a missed opportunity.
Christopher Moss, Lt. Governor Candidate said "Number one, I think it could create tens of thousands of jobs in New York State, could infuse tens of millions of dollars in the economy that would not only help the Southern Tier, which really needs it, but the entire state."
Moss has also been an outspoken critic of the Safe Act and the Common Core.
