Triathlons may seem like a daunting task for some, but over 70 participants in Vestal were up to the challenge.
The Binghamton Jewish Community Center held it's 3rd annual Super Sprint Triathlon both inside and around their facility. Participants could compete individually or in teams of three. The event included a smaller course in order to spark young athletes' interest to challenge themselves further.
"It's great and rewarding. A lot of the motivation in our stuff is to get people active so whenever you see your time, energy and effort going to a positive direction, it's definitely rewarding," said Dan Whalen, Director of Health, Physical education and Recreation at the Binghamton JCC.
The Binghamton JCC is preparing for their upcoming summer camps and enrollment for the 2014 season is now open. For more information visit BinghamtonJCC.org.
