Binghamton Fire Department Saves Seven Lives with Narcan

The Binghamton Fire Department has saved its seventh life in the past two months by using the heroin overdose reversal medication--Narcan.
On Saturday a man in Binghamton's First Ward was found unresponsive and not breathing. The Narcan was administered and he was taken to Binghamton General Hospital. He's expected to make a full recovery.
The Fire Department has been carrying Narcan kits since April 1st. Binghamton Police have also started to carry the medicine. The Department purchased 25 kits and have been carrying them since early May.
Pennsylvania State Police Have Frein In Custody
Pennsylvania State Police have confirmed that they have Eric Frein in custody.
Frein is suspected of committing the ambush shooting at the Blooming Grove Barracks which killed one trooper and injured another on September 12th.
The search for Eric Frein has been ongoing for almost seven weeks. No further information is available at this time. We'll keep you updated as more information becomes... more
