Bike Night in Owego

If you like to be with people who like to be on bikes, with the wind in their hair, and enjoying the feeling of freedom of the road--the place to be Wednesday night was in Owego, for Bike Night--

There were 150 motorcycles there, along with the people who ride them.

It was part of the fest held downtown at the Parkview Hotel every Wednesday evening, now through August:

"Well,  there's a certain excitement about riding a motorcycle, just being in the open air and being able to do maneuvers that a car can't do"
said Beth Johnson, event organizer and  owner of Parkview Resturaunt.

"Freedom with motorcycle means you can just enjoy life a lot nicer and stuff than you can in a car...
"...it's something you gotta try to understand what it's like and everything. It's very peaceful and very relaxing. I have a pillow at home that says you'll never see a motorcycle in front of a psychiatrist's office.' and it's the God's honest truth," said biker Bill Chandler.

And if biking isn't exciting enough for you, in the fall, the Zombies will be in Owego for their own festival-- but don't worry--they're not there to stay, they are just coming  to eat.
