Nurse at Good Shepherd Facing Charges
5/28/2014 (Updated 9:53:37 PM)A licensed nurse is facing charges after she lied about injuries caused to a patient under her care in 2013.
34-year-old Tanya Johnson worked for the Good Shepherd Village at Endwell Nursing Facility when a resident fell during a bath.
The resident suffered abrasions and Johnson failed to follow the nursing home policy and report the incident, she also lied about it later.
She's being charged with falsifying business records, endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person, and willful violation of health laws.
Those charges are punishable by up to four years in state prison and five years of probation.
