Ithaca's Dustin Brown, four other NYers named to Olympic Team

Five players that call New York State home will be headed over to Sochi, Russia to represent the Team USA Hockey in the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Ithaca native Dustin Brown, Jimmy Howard of Syracuse, Ryan Callahan of Greece, Patrick Kane of Buffalo, and Brooks Orpik, who was born in San Francisco but grew up in East Amherst all have been named to the Olympic team.  Below is the depth chart by forward lines and defensive pairings.

Forward Line 1 (LW, C, RW):
Dustin Brown, David Backes, Ryan Callahan

Line 2:
Max Pacioretty, Ryan Kesler, Patrick Kane

Line 3:
Zach Parise, Joe Pavelski, Phil Kessel,
