Hundreds of people turned out despite the cold for a local holiday tradition Saturday night.
The Village of Endicott held it's annual holiday parade down Washington Avenue.
The procession was filled with musical performances, dancers, and decorated floats. area residents lined the street and say they look forward to coming out for the parade every year.
"People come to see Santa light the tree so it's kind of nice to see the chorus and corral singing together spreading the Christmas cheer," said Keirra Fairbanks of Endicott.
"They have such a spirit of togetherness and community and out for the kids. actually i think i get more excited than they do," said Victoria Delsanto of Endicott.
Following the parade the tree was lit in municipal park and Santa visited with local children.
