Police: Two Men Arrested for Stealing Railroad Tracks
11/13/2013 (Updated 6:42:22 PM)Two men are under arrest after police say they stole railroad tracks.
Chenango County sheriff's deputies arrested 22-year-old Cody Gay and 22-year-old Paul Presnell of north Norwich.
They say the pair went to a section of railway in north Norwich and used torches to cut sections of the track out of the railway.
Police say they then turned the track in for money. The pair are charged criminal mischief, grand larceny, and criminal trespass. The pair are due back in court at a later date.
