1 Man Dead After Early Morning Crash
10/26/2013 (Updated 10:53:55 PM)A crash in Susquehanna County leaves one man dead.
Pennsylvania State Police say it happened on State Route 106 in Clifford Township near the intersection of Oswald Johnson Road around 6:30 Saturday morning.
30-year-old Zachary Dayton of Clifford Township was traveling on a right hand curve when his sedan crossed the lines into the Westbound lane crashing head on with an SUV. Dayton was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV, 36-year-old Robert Swingle and passenger 4-year-old Sean Burnham, both of Carbondale, had to be extricated from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries. Both were taken to the hospital.
The crash is under investigation.
