In Albany, state lawmakers continue to head toward another early passage of a budget.
Senator Tom Libous tells us that the senate has already passed three spending bills, and he expects the budget to be ready for senate consideration by early Wednesday.
He says the final figures on school aid won't be known until later this evening, but he thinks he'll like the budget figures.
"I'm expecting to see good things in those numbers. We added additional money. We helped upstate school districts. I'm hoping those numbers are going to show some changes from the governor for Broome, Tioga, and Chenango Counties."
The assembly will take up the bills on Thursday. The budget is due by April first.
