A dozen drivers were nabbed by Broome County deputies for not using their seat belts. The tickets were issued during the recent statewide buckle up New York campaign.
The violations noted during police patrols in the Town of Union.
in addition to the seat belt tickets, deputies also issued sixteen cell phone tickets, one texting while driving ticket, five for failure to stop at a red light, one for passing a stopped school bus, and one for driving with a suspended license.
