SAN JOSE, C.A. -- On the eve of the NCAA Tournament, Syracuse Basketball Head Coach Jim Boeheim found himself answering non-Montana-related questions.
A report was published on Wednesday stating that the Orange are allegedly under NCAA investigation for a range of events, including Fab Melo's academic ineligibility issues and a sexual assault case from 2007. The report states that the investigation has been ongoing, and that the NCAA sent the university a preliminary inquiry letter.
When Jim Boeheim held his press conference Wednesday evening, he said he is not concerned about the timing of the report and that he can't comment on something that is "just talk."
Boeheim's focus is on his team's first-round matchup with Montana. Tip is set for 9:57 PM EST Thursday.
