B-Sens brawl their way to 5-1 win

Norfolk struck first as Sami Vatanen put the Admirals on the board first after scoring on the power play at 8:11 into the opening frame. Mark Stone would tie the game at one after tossing one behind Frederik Andersen at 9:07. Binghamton kept the positivity rolling as Chris Wideman scored his second goal of the year at the 11:19 mark. Jean-Gabriel Pageau wrapped up the first period by throwing one into the Norfolk net at 19:31. The B-Sens entered the first intermission with a 3-1 lead.
Michael Sdao and Troy Bodie dropped the gloves at 6:23 in the second, adding fuel to the fire for both teams. Wacey Hamilton increased Binghamtons lead to 4-1 after tallying a goal at 14:40.
Both teams lost their tempers in the third as the B-Sens and the Admirals combined for a total of 57 penalty minute in the period. Sdao closed out the game by scoring his first professional goal at 16:43 in the third.
Nathan Lawson tended goal for Binghamton earning his seventh victory on the season after turning aside 42 of 43 shots faced. Andersen took the loss for Norfolk after stopping 31 of 36 Binghamton shots.
The B-Sens return to action Friday, March 22 as they host the Albany Devils. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
