Binghamton Man Facing DWI Charges

BINGHAMTON--A Binghamton man will appear in court after police say he was driving drunk.

A deputy pulled over 29-year-old Darren Scherer just before midnight on Saturday while he was traveling on River Road in the Town of Chenango.

Police say his BAC was more than twice the legal limit.  He will appear in the Town of Chenango Court at a later date.
