VESTAL -- The BU men took to the practice floor this afternoon to prepare for tomorrow night's tilt against Maine. It's a chance to sweep the season series for the Bearcats.
Last time these two teams met, it was a Jimmy Gray 3 at the buzzer that beat the Black Bears 57-56.
This time, Coach Tommy Dempsey thinks that Maine will come in hungry and that the Black Bears offense will have a much different look than it did on January 19.
"We were fortunate they struggled offensively the last time we played and I think our defense had something to do with that. But a couple of their All-League players didn't have good nights so I would expect them to play better offensively and I think we are going to have to score some points to stay in the game," Dempsey said Friday afternoon.
The men tip off at 7 PM Saturday at the Events Center. The women also host Maine as part of the doubleheader. That game is at 4 PM,
