Voices were raised Wednesday night at Vestal High School as the A cappella singing group, the Funx, performed.
The group is made up of five members that use no instruments, just their voices, to perform covers of popular music as well as original compositions.
The show was about an hour long, and was a bit of an interactive experience for the audience as they were asked to sing along for some of the songs.
Earlier in the day, the singers had workshops with Vestal's chorus classes to encourage musical interest.
Group member Nate Tao had a brush with fame when he auditioned for American Idol in Season 12 and made it to Hollywood. If you'd like to hear more about the Funx you can visit their facebook page at facebook.com/thefunks or on twitter @acafunx
