BINGHAMTON -- The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled goaltender March Cheverie from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
Cheverie, 25, was recalled to Binghamton from Elmira for the first time this season on Jan. 12. He appeared in goal for the B-Sens on Jan. 19 at Bridgeport making 25 saves. He also dressed as the B-Sens back-up goaltender for an additional seven games, but did not play.
The 6-2, 185-pound Cheverie has posted a record of 11-9-1 with 2.60 goals-against average and .917 save percentage in 22 games with the Jackals this season.
The B-Sens return to action on Friday, Feb. 15 as they host the Syracuse Crunch.
