Preston's Inaugural Ball

"There's tremendous enthusiasm about what shes going to do for Broome County," says Dave Hamlin, Republican Party Chair.
Over 500 people came out to the McKinley in Endicott on Friday to congratulate Debbie Preston on her election to her first, full, four year term as Broome County Executive.
"I just want to do as much as I can for the people of Broome County and I'm committed to them," says Debbie Preston, Broome County Executive.
Preston says the toughest challenge she faces over the next four years is bringing more jobs to Broome County.
"We're starting to put a lot of things together, as far as looking forward and what we need to do, but that is a priority. With the incubator- that's one key to keeping young people here, says Preston.
"We have to be creative, we have to be able to look outside that circle and help these young individuals stay with us, because they are just fantastic," says Hamlin.
And for the county executive and her team, fracking will be a big part of the draw.

"Tonight is a big celebration-not only about the win but because we have four years and that's very exciting," says Preston.
