B-Sens best Admirals 4-2

The B-Sens struck first at 5:20 of the game on an unassisted goal by forward Mark Stone, a tally marking his seventh ringer of the season. Forward Corey Cowick doubled his teams lead at 8:29 with a lone assist credited to Jean-Gabriel Pageau. Binghamton outshot Norfolk in the first period, 18-4.
The Admirals caught up in the second period putting 19 shots on the Binghamton net and adding two goals of their own to the mix. Winger Josh Brittain netted his first of the season with assists by Rod Pelley and Nick Schaus at 2:40. Forward Ryan Lasch followed suit with an unassisted tally at 7:51 to tie the score at two. The B-Sens would reclaim their lead as defenseman Eric Gryba capitalized on a power play at the 14:07 mark. The assists to Grybas fourth of the season belonged to Stephane Da Costa and Daniel New. For New the assist marked his first American Hockey League point.

The score remained close until the final minute of play when Gryba banked a shot off the boards and into an empty Admirals net with just 13.5 seconds left to secure a 4-2 victory for the home standing B-Sens.
Nathan Lawson picked up his first win of the season in his second appearance for the B-Sens, making 38 saves on 40 shots. Frederick Andersen started in goal for the Admirals making 36 saves on the 39 shots he faced.
The B-Sens return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 7:05 p.m. as they host the Rochester Amerks.
