B-Sens best Admirals 4-2

BINGHAMTON, N.Y.  The Binghamton Senators bounced back from last nights shootout loss to the Adirondack Phantoms as they defeated the Norfolk Admirals tonight, 4-2.

The B-Sens struck first at 5:20 of the game on an unassisted goal by forward Mark Stone, a tally marking his seventh ringer of the season. Forward Corey Cowick doubled his teams lead at 8:29 with a lone assist credited to Jean-Gabriel Pageau. Binghamton outshot Norfolk in the first period, 18-4.

The Admirals caught up in the second period putting 19 shots on the Binghamton net and adding two goals of their own to the mix. Winger Josh Brittain netted his first of the season with assists by Rod Pelley and Nick Schaus at 2:40. Forward Ryan Lasch followed suit with an unassisted tally at 7:51 to tie the score at two. The B-Sens would reclaim their lead as defenseman Eric Gryba capitalized on a power play at the 14:07 mark. The assists to Grybas fourth of the season belonged to Stephane Da Costa and Daniel New. For New the assist marked his first American Hockey League point.
