1/9/2013 (Updated 7:03:23 PM)
In total the buyout is estimated at more than 17 million dollars, and will cover all 176 properties.
FEMA will pay seventy five percent of the costs and the remainder of the costs will be picked up by property owners and a grant from the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development Under the Community Development Block Grant.

Rose Sotak notes that at this time that there is no need to come to the town of union building or call regarding the buyout program.
