BU's Moquete violated team standards

VESTAL -- The Bearcat men fell to 0-2 in the America East Monday night, but perhaps the bigger news that contest was the absence of Rayner Moquete.

The junior guard, who heading in Mondays loss, averaged 16 points-per-game over the last two did not play one second verse UAlbany.

That's because head coach Tommy Dempsey says Moquete violated team standards.

"My principles are more important than wins-and-losses, and I have to do what's best for the program to create the right messages for everybody in the program. They need to take care of business on-and-off the court, said Dempsey.

Moquete's status for tomorrow night's home game vs Stony Brook has not yet been determined.
