Powerball Fever Continues

500-million bucks...and still growing.
that's the size of the Powerball jackpot, after no one won in Monday night's drawing:

Outlets in the Binghamton area are still reporting brisk business-- even after Monday's crowds of people buying tickets, and their hopes for their dreams.

The next drawing is Wednesday night.

Tuesday evening, we visited Roger's Market in Endicott--where store keepers are getting ready:

"Every time when the Powerball and Mega Millions get this high they try to increase the pot. so we're hoping it'll be higher then 500 million tomorrow. We're going to both be working here. Last time we had the Mega Millions go up we had a line out the door," said Shaivan Amin, the manager of Roger's Market.

Roger's Market has had previous winners.

The biggest was the ten million dollar prize for one lucky NY Lottery winner in 1993.
