Contract Dispute Between Direct TV and Northwest Broadcasting
8/17/2012 (Updated 10:34:09 PM)
Many of our viewers have been wondering about what's going on with Fox 40 News and Direct TV.
Direct TV viewers already know that Direct TV is not carrying Fox 40 programming at this time that's because of a still unresolved contract dispute.
Brian Brady the President of our parent company Northwest Broadcasting feels Direct TV is making unrealistic demands involving the costs of carrying our programs over Direct TV. That is what it costs us to bring you quality programming including NFL, PAC 12 college football, a new season of X-Factor, American Idol, Glee, as well as local news and programing.
Northwest regrets what it sees as Direct TV's unnecessary disservice to television viewers in our area.
