Lehner staying with Senators

Former Binghamton Senators goaltender Robin Lehner and the Ottawa Senators have agreed to a 3-year extension worth $6.675 million.

Lehner, 23, went 12-15-6 in a career high 36 games last season with the Sens.  In that span he had a .913 save percentage with a 3.06 goals against average.  For his career, in 61 games, Lehner is 21-24-10 with a 2.82 GAA and a .918 save percentage.

With this deal the Senators buy out two years of arbitration and Lehner will still be a restricted free agent when the extension expires.  Lehner will make $1.5 million this year, $2.025 million the next, and $3.15 million the final year for a cap hit of $2.225 million.
