Hundreds Enjoy Sunday Dinner at St. Anthony's

The cold weather and snow didn't stop nearly 400 people from making their way to St. Anthony's in Endicott Sunday. The church's Holy Name Society hosted it's annual CYO pasta dinner event.

Members of the society along with the CYO youth group helped serve the customers who made their way to the basement after mass. The menu included homemade spaghetti and meatballs. All money raised at the dinner will benefit the youth group.

"Being involved is always a good thing and it gives everybody , the guys in back cooking, the guys serving, we get the kids involved. It gets a feeling of community," said Nick Diles, President of the Holy Name Society.

The church took take out orders as well as walk ins.  Members say they're thrilled with the response from the community. The holy name society plans to hold more fundraising events throughout the next couple of months.
