Voters Still Divided on Fracking

According to a new Quinnipiac Poll, New Yorkers are split between environmental concerns and economic benefits when it comes to fracking.

Upstate voters were divided: 46% in favor, 45% opposed.

45% of Upstate New Yorkers believe Cuomo is dragging his feet on the issue while 24% believe he is carefully evaluating it.

Overall, 45% to 41% of voters in the state oppose natural gas drilling.
