D'Amigo gets hard earned NHL call

It took three plus years of play in the AHL, but Johnson City native Jerry D'Amigo made his NHL debut on Thursday against the Dallas Stars.  D'Amigo only saw the ice for 4:02, but did manage to put one shot on goal.

D'Amigo graduated from JC High School in 2009, before playing college hockey at Rennsselear Polytechnic Institute (RPI).  He was selected in the 6th round (158 overall) by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
