Man Arrested for Growing Marijuana in Backyard

Pennsylvania State Police in Gibson arrested a man on Saturday after they found marijuana plants behind the man's home in Susquehanna County.
Police say 53 year old Raymond Toman of Hallstead was growing the marijuana. They found six and a half pounds of the drug in his home at Box 70 Mucky Run Rd. in Liberty Township. They also found drug paraphernalia including lights used for indoor marijuana growing.

Toman was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was arraigned on Sunday and remains in the Susquehanna County Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail.
