Baby Shower Benefit

Many people came together Saturday for a family who's daughter was born with a rare heart defect.

Christopher and Kimberly Hranek hosted a fundraiser at Two Brothers Restaurant in Endicott for their daughter Trinity who was born last Friday with Hypo-Plastic Left Heart Syndrome. It's a condition that effects normal blood flow through the heart.

Trinity had the first of  3 required open heart surgeries this past week at Golisano Children's Hospital in Rochester .

The parents say they are hoping to raise enough money to cover the health costs but also would like to do something more.

"Our overall goal is to be able to create a foundation to do research for Hypo-Plastic Left Heart Syndrome," Christopher Hranek said. "and then be able to create a foundation outreach to other families."
Local businesses helped sponsor the event. To donate visit
